Poll & How Would You Quilt This?

2 Attachment(s)
First question: Which do you prefer? The one with the single black centre block with the cut out circle or the row of black blocks with the cut out circles?
Second: How would you quilt this? I have some ideas, but I'd love to hear yours!

The second one feels much more balanced.

No opinion on quilting - I'm not experienced enough to have one yet.

Definitely the first! As far as quilting it, I have a hard enough time figuring out how to quilt my own; sorry I can't be of help :-)

The first one has more impact. Catches the eye more. Second one's a bit boring. And I'm a hand quilter, don't wanna ask ME!

I like the first one best. "How am I going to quilt this?" Is always my first question when I start a project and again when I've finished layering! Usually I just have to sit and mull it over for awhile. If I had better skills it would probably be easier. With yours, maybe something with straight lines to contrast the circles?

I like the second one and lately I'm enjoying straight line echo quilting with my walking foot. Both are lovely work though!

I like the second one and I might do concentric circles 1/2 inch apart in each block.

I agree with Tartan.

I agree with Tartan also - exactly what I was going to suggest!

Have fun!
