Has anyone used 100% polyester for a bow tuck bag? My DIL is wanting one from pink realtree camo and Hancock's has it but it is 100% poly. I have seen some polys that were still and some that felt like nylon. I don't know, might be too stretchy. Can't bring myself to pay 22.00 a yard on ebay.

With so much fabric selection out there, I would not pay $22.00 yard for anything. Just my opinion!

It should be fine!! Once you fuse the fleece onto it, it's going to be more stable if it's stretchy...just be careful not to tug on it too much.
I have some fabric that was my mom's that is a jacket lining type fabric, that I'm going to use for the inside of a couple of bowtucks... |
As long as you can fuse the fleece to the fabric without any problem, I would think anything goes :D:D:D

just line it and go or it.

If you use that, because it is poly, be sure to use a teflon pressing sheet or pressing cloth of some sort. The iron will melt it if to hot. It's not nice getting off your iron. I'm talking from experience.

22.00 for 1 yard.......no way!
|
Twenty two dollars a yard for poly? There's NO WAY that I would pay that! That's an insane price, in my opinion, but if you want it, go for it.

I have not used polyester, but I would if it was the fabric someone wanted for a bag.
