My physical therapist gave me this tip. When you're sitting a lot, cut the noodle the width of your chair or your back and place in between your back and the chair (usually lower back area) and it helps relieve stress on your back. Great for long intervals at the machine and I even use one when I travel.

Pool noodles can also be used for quilt displays. Instead of folding, roll a quilt onto a noodle and stand it in a corner or next to a cabinet. They look really nice in groups of two or three. This also helps prevents your quilt from having fold line creases.

I bought 4 at the Dollar store yesterday, wraped them with tissue paper and then wraped quilts around them for storage. They work great !!

Such great ideas for another Dollar Tree purchase.. Thanks to all of you!!!
I cut one the size of a plastic clothes hanger, attach to hanger and hang on my closet door. When I cut strips for my quilt I press and put on hanger to keep from getting wrinkled. Just split it the length of your hanger and cut a slot the long way of the noodle. Slips right on the hanger and stays there...

OMG Yes!
Went to Menards yesterday and went up and down a few aisles looking at the pool and outdoor toy items trying to decide on something for our small grandchildren when they come over. Kept staring at those pool noodles over and over. Thought it was because there were so many and so colorful and in the way of other items. My unconscious mind must have been telling me I needed those things. Now I realize I should have purchased them! Thanks for the ideas!

if you don't want to split the tubes you can buy the ones they use for insulating pipes. I had some extra from when we built the addition on the house so that worked for me. I never though about posting that idea here but it works the same as those pool noodles and are smaller around.
