portrait on fabric

Does anyone know if I can have a portrait of a dog put on fabric? I have a picture of the dog but would like it sketched onto a piece of fabric so I can make a pillow with it.
Thanks in Advance.

i'm sure it's possible to sketch or paint your dog on fabric. another option might be to have an applique done. here is a quilt by one of our members http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t177646.html
she does magnificently real 'portraits' of all kinds. you might contact her by PM.

I know the commercial copying places can do a photo transfer onto fabric. People have used paints, dyes and even crayons to put designs on fabric. Good luck with your search.

Why don't you just print the picture on your computer to some special fabric that allows you to do this?

This video shows how to print photos on fabric with an inkjet printer.
It is for inkjet only.
