How many squares does it take to make a full size postage stamp quilt?

How many inches is full size? I think each square is supposed to finish at 1".

not sure but if you make it before April when the rates increase you'll use less blocks.

If I remember correctly, it is one thousand different pieces of fabric, finished size 1 inch.
Although, I found quiltville.com because I was looking for postage stamp quilts.
I think the quilt it directed me to had 2 inch squares in it, and was done by strip piecing.
Have you done a search, either here on the Board or just as a general web search of some kind? <wave>

Around 2000 or so I believe. Maybe that's a twin. Hmm... I think that's pretty close though

If the blocks finish 1 inch and your quilt is 90x90 that would be 8100 tiny little blocks.:):) Think I will pass!

There is a quick and easy way to make a postage stamp quilt with 2 1/2" strips. Here is the link to the tutorial. You will need to use 1 solid color jelly roll and 1 print jelly roll.
