Ok, I know not to use polyester batting for potholders, and to use 2 layers of warm and natural cotten if not using insulbright. My question is, is it ok to use polyester thread for the quilting part of the potholder? I found this really cool color that I like, but can't find it in cotton and know this would match perfectly. Thanks on whatever input you can give me.

I have also used poly with no probs. I even embroidered one with rayon and it still works OK. :-D

I have had problems with polyester thread but I can be very clumsy. It melts very easily and I have actually burned my self just on the thread.
