I have acquired a 1948 Kenmore sewing machine model 117-959 which needs to have the power cord replaced. I have searched the Sears web site and every other place to locate a power cord for this machine with no success. I would appreciate anyone's help that could make a suggestion where i might find a cord. Thanks so much, Anne

There are several online sewing machine parts places that you can call. They have cords for most machines.

Post this under the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop topic. Several people that post there have spare parts of all kiinds.

I have the same problem. My 117-959 came without a bobbin case or bobbin and the power cord needs to be replaced. Please let me know when you find help. I will when i find it!
