I get some emails at work to bi-monthly business columns, blogs and whatever – I found one that can apply to our quilting habit! I’ll post the link, but want to include just the highlights of it here.
In Summary …anyone can do anything. As long as three conditions exist: 1. You want to achieve it 2. You believe you can achieve it 3. You enjoy trying to achieve it Basically, in order to get better at FMQ, I have to not only practice, but enjoy practicing! I only get better by practicing. I really need to remember this! http://blogs.harvardbusiness.org/bre...ething-is.html The last part of the article compares the # of hours practicing the violin & where that gets you….very interesting. |
This is very good advice. For myself I also have to add that I shouldn't expect my practice pieces to be perfect.

Great philosophy

What a wonderful statement. They are so right, practice is great, but enjoy it too. The trip to where you are going is half the fun. :-)
