Thanks for sharing the link. I have really missed seeing the quilt shows this year.
|
I can't wait! Will be watching for opening day and be there asap!

Oh boy! Thanks for the tip. I've marked my calendar! :)

Ooo this sounds amazing! I have to say, as someone living in the UK with somewhat less access (usually) to quilt shows, this whole 'quilt show online' thing is absolutely magic... I really hope some of this is kept even once we're back to normal (or new normal, whatever that is). Perhaps shows could do an online version but charge a small fee? Not the same as seeing the quilts in person, but a whole lot better than nothing https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png (for them too lol)

Thank you so much for the link. I can hardly wait. I love to go to quilt shows but with all that is happening in 2020 I don't get out much. Sure do miss seeing what other people do with their fabrics in making beautiful quilts and wall hangings.
|
Thank you for posting the link. This will be my first time to "attend' a quilt show.

Thanks for posting the link so we all knew about this! It was a delight too look through all the beautiful quilts this morning. Is this your guild?
|
I marked this on my calendar a few days ago when it was first mentioned and this morning, with my coffee in hand, went to the show! Soo many beautiful quilts and so many awards!! A great show and well produced. My first virtual show.. Of course I love the more in person shows but this hit the spot for this year. Great work for everyone who entered and a great job done by all. This made my day.

A feast for the eyes! Thank you again for sharing.

Bonnie, this is the third virtual quilt show I've attended this year and I think yours had the best formatting. Very easy to browse.
|
Unfortunately I've gone to the link and it asks me for a User name and password?

I received the same message this a.m. I'm going to notify the woman who set the site up and see if she can fix it.

Due to website problems experienced with The Prairie Star Quilters Guild virtual quilt show orginially scheduled for October 9 - 10, this virtual show has been extended to run about 30 days. Voting for your favorite quilts has been extended through Monday, October 12. Sorry for any inconvenience. The link to the website is:

Nice show, Bonnie. Please let your guild members know that I really appreciated it! I liked that you had both display quilts and also the judged quilts.
|
That was amazing! I was really impressed by the variety of beautiful quilts you have. Also all the time and effort it must have taken to set up the technology to do this. It is truly wonderful that I can sit here in my house in North Wales and view a quilt show in Illinois!!
Sincere thanks to all involved in putting this on! |
