OK, a question for all you pre cut people. What is the difference between jelly rolls, layer cakes, other pre cuts, etc.?

Jelly Roll is strips of fabric cut 2 1/2 inches the WOF..
The layer cake is a 10 inch square I believe
not sure about pre-cuts , sorry. I am GUESSING that is design that someone has already cut out fro you for applique :roll:

There seem to be some "jelly rolls" out there that are thinner than 2.5. What are they called?

Ok just googled Pre cuts and it says Pre cuts are when the pieces are cut out for the quilt , you just sew them together :thumbup:

yes, for clearing it up for me too. I always cut my own pieces for quilts.

charm packs are 5" squares. Nickel pks. are the same thing.
