hmmmm I put some in a shadow box picture frame for a friend. Not sure how it could be done on a quilt!!!

I won't lie...I find quilts that have whole clothing items on/in them to be kind of creepy...but that is my preference.

The only thing I could think of to at least make it "look" whole, is to separate the front from the back and applique the whole front to a quilt?

Boy, that's a hard one. I could see the front on a block, but to sew the whole thing...I can't even envision what that would look like.

bout all you can do is applique them down, maybe like hanging on the clothesline but that's going to be heavy and cumbersome, if you could at least cut them apart front and back it would help, I mean she can't reusue them!

I would point her to the shadow boxes at Hobby Lobby.

I never heard of doing that.

What an interesting concept! Frilly dresses, little suits... besides the ones shown.
I think these quilts are all cute :D:D:D
