Hi, I've been a quilter for many years and now have my own longarm business. Please HELP!!! A friend of mine wants to preserve several of her grandsons special outfits. Anyone have any ideas or pics of ones they have done? She wants to preserve the entire outfit (not cut it up in anyway). I know ya'll can help so I thank you in advance!!! Thanks

hmmmm I put some in a shadow box picture frame for a friend. Not sure how it could be done on a quilt!!!

I won't lie...I find quilts that have whole clothing items on/in them to be kind of creepy...but that is my preference.
The only thing I could think of to at least make it "look" whole, is to separate the front from the back and applique the whole front to a quilt? |
Boy, that's a hard one. I could see the front on a block, but to sew the whole thing...I can't even envision what that would look like.

bout all you can do is applique them down, maybe like hanging on the clothesline but that's going to be heavy and cumbersome, if you could at least cut them apart front and back it would help, I mean she can't reusue them!
