I am sure you can still "persuade" him into doing it .........
......... and too, with the right wording, he will never even think of the old sprayer!

Personally I will never preshrink a batting. Been making quilts for 43 years, haven’t found a reason to do that yet. I purchase the batting that is going to give me the end results I want. I truly cannot imagine going through that process. So, i piece my batting before. My batting gets washed when the finished quilt is washed.
