Press and Seal for EPP

Someone today was talking about using Press and Seal for fussy cutting in the EPP process. Does anyone know how this is done? The gal wasn't sure other than Press and Seal was used.

I've heard of using Press and Seal for marking designs for quilting, and then quilting through it, but I haven't heard of using it for EPP. Perhaps you use a marker to mark a square the size of the piece you need to fussy cut, and then move the Press and Seal around on the fabric until you see the desired pattern inside the square, then cut? I don't see how this would be easier than cutting a window in a piece of regular paper, except that the Press and Seal adheres to the fabric, so it should stay put while you're cutting. I think there's something I'm missing here...

She was vague on how it worked and I checked on You Tube and didn't see anything. I think you're right and I don't see any advantage to it either. Thanks.

Maybe once a certain motif is chosen on the fabric, you trace it onto the press and seal, and then you can just use that as your "template" to make sure you get the exact same design on each piece?

Mabe stick it to the template and draw on it
