Please tell me it's true! I've searched, but can't find it.
Please send help!!

Our LQS has just gotten software you can purchase to print them off. I didn't buy it yesterday, but am giving it serious thought. I'm going back on Monday and ask Jean to show it to me on her computer and let me see how user friendly it is.

i don't know if there's more than commercial software, but one i've seen is called CD Triangulations, by Barbara Henning, from Bear Paw Productions. i've checked a few places online and the lowest price i found was $23.99 on ebay.

JHittle.com offered it recently for $17.97. I can't find it in their online catalog, but I'll bet they still have it. I wouldn't be surprised if the price is still that low. it's Item no. bpp.56-2250_sgl

this is a link to their home page: http://jhittlesewing.funoverload.com/sewing/catalog.php

you'll find their phone number and an email address you could use if you wanted to check to see if they still have it at that price.

Heres a printable page for you :D

***copyrighted material deleted***

here's a link to the website that offers the files Izy wants to show you.

http://www.quiltingandwhatnot.com/Ha...-Triangle.html

in fact, i recommend you browse through the whole site. some very interesting and common sense tips on paper piecing and links to some of my favorite free pattern & tutorial sites. :-)

Ms Grace 01-11-2009 07:11 AM

Izy,
That's it! Thank you!!!! :D :D :D
I've bookmarked it this time. :-)

Izy 01-11-2009 07:49 AM

Oooops Sorry Admin!! No idea I was infringing copyright... :(

butterflywing 01-11-2009 09:41 AM

i can't find cd triangulations anywhere. when i search, i get a computer supply online store. could they be out of business?

butterflywing 01-11-2009 09:51 AM

found it under 'bear paw productions'.

what is the advantage over http://www.QuiltingAndWhatnot.com

this also lets you print and for free. if you spray starch, can you print right on your light fabric? costs a little more, but eliminates a lot of hassle.

Izy 01-11-2009 01:23 PM

Ohh its starting to sound more tempting...I might just have to be naughty more often if you add garlic..can you stick some tarragon in too???? white wine and a little cream???:D

Ms Grace 01-11-2009 06:23 PM

Izy,
Sorry I got you in trouble.

Harmony 01-11-2009 11:17 PM

I splurged and bought the Triangulations program, and it is awesome! You can print absolutely any size of triangles, as many as you want. I couldn't be happier with it!

Did you ever get the software to print Thangles. I'm very interested in purchasing it. If so where did you get it.

dakotamaid 10-21-2009 12:00 PM

Try googling the "quilting and whatnot" and that will get you to the site.

The reason the website http://www.QuiltingAndWhatnot.com
won't work is this is the correct site: www.QuiltingAndWhatnot.ca. Notice the "ca" at the end. I had to do a google search. Thanks to whoever posted this. I was really wanting to try my hand at thangles. LOL to all. God Bless. Happy Stitch. PS. How do we know if we are infinging copyright? Thanks.

martha jo 07-19-2010 09:55 AM

I got mine from Bear Paw. Came in less than a week.
