I actually ironed my fabirc onto freezer paper (or maybe I used some spray adhesive ( I forget now, cut the freezer paper to copy paper size and ran it right through my computer printer. Soemtimes it gets stuck, but if you trim the paper very careful it will got through. I guess it may depend on your printer, but it worked great for me. I do wonder how it would hold up if it were washed though. I just made a small sachet with the photo, so I wasn't worried about washability.

I just tape the printable fabric to a plain sheet of paper making sure the top edge is completely taped down. Then run it through the printer and follow the directions on the package.
I buy it by the roll and just cut the size I need.
