Has anyone had a problem with there Ellisimo (BabyLock), threading the needle? I don't know if I have done something to it, or I need to take it to the dealer to have them check it out.

Everything else works well, love the machine.

Hi..I don't have your machine but do have an auto threader on my Horizon. Don't know if your's has a similar style of threader, where you pull the threader down, wrap the thread around and then push a button (or some similar process).

Sometimes the tiny wire that goes through the needle hole can get bent. I've managed to straighten mine by tweaking it very gently with my finger. Don't know if that will help with your's or not but would be worth a try.

You need to make sure that the needle is in it's highest position. The best way to do this is needle up/down button.
If for some reason the threader has gotten pushed out of position, your dealer can fix, usually within a few minutes.

The needle threader on my Janome 6600 was out of position at one time. I bought a tiny screwdriver, the kind made for jewelry repair, unscrewed the plastic arm of the threader to loosen it, readjusted it, and then tightened it back up. Been fine ever since. P.S. Friend is a Janome "expert" and told me what to do. Good luck.

I've never had any problems with my Ellisimo (the needle threader is automatic by pushing a button). The only trick I've learned is that you must put the presser foot down before running the thread through the final path to the thread cutter before pushing the button to thread the needle.

Also it will not work with a size 60 size needle - and amazingly, it is in the manual!

Great, I just might have to pack her up and take her out there.
That is a very heavy machine and he told me that I should lay it down when I bring it in. That one didn't come with a case for the machine, but it did come with a case for the embroidery part, go figure.

Especially for the price, I felt it should come with case for machine, also. I have the model down from yours, Ellageo. I use to sell Babylocks back 6-7 years ago. They are great machines.

Can't help you with this. I have the Ellisimo and it's sitting on a table in it's original plastic covering. I need courage - the thing is intimidating.

But HAVE to tell you - what a beautiful kitty in your avatar!

oops - duped my reply. Deleted.

Was sewing along and then all of a sudden, the threader refused to cooperate. Had to take it to a dealer for repairs. The threading unit was replaced. Seems the problem could have been thread that was too thick and finally sent the metal threading finger out of alignment.

Some combination of thick thread and/or too small needles will cause this problem.
