I did not purchase it but two of my friends did. They did like cutting with it but the spring broke. From other posts I see this is a comon problem.

I have one. Purchased it several years ago. I have never changed the blade but thanks for the heads up on problems with changing them. I may go up later and see if I can get the screw off.

I had to go back to the Olfa which is not ergonomic.

I love, love, love my ergonomically shaped Gingher. It doesn't hurt that it is also very pretty ;-)
