can anyone tell me where i can get a pattern for professional tote? thanks for your help

amandasgramma 11-03-2010 06:52 AM

I got it a the LQS...but haven't seen it there lately. Here's a web site: http://pursepatterns.com/index.php?m...roducts_id=124

I found it here:
http://pursepatterns.com/index.php?m...fessional+tote

If that site doesn't come up, go to www.pursepatterns.com. On the right side, do a search of professional tote and it will come up.

Can someone share how much fabric is needed to make the professional tote? I think I may order the pattern but am currently selling some fabrics and I may want to keep some pieces if they would be enough for this pattern. Thanks.

I do not know how much fabric it takes but I am going to oder the pattern

Nice!

The Professional Tote takes 1 and 1/8 yds for Main Fabric, 1 and 1/2 yds for lining fabric, 1 and 1/4 yds for contrast fabric plus 2 and 1/2 yards of Deco Bond interfacing. The bag is great, I've made four and and each turned out fine, but it is labor intensive, you have to cut and mark each pattern piece (took one day just to mark, tag and cut) but the bag is well worth it. I love this pattern.

I have some leather swatches left from some interior design jobs, not huge, maybe 12x15. I wonder if those could be incorporated somehow?

the pattern calls for "Deco Bond", and that is what I used. Purchased at JoAnn's with a 1/2 off coupon.
