Go to Jinny Beyer's site. She just put a new pattern up, I believe it is called Cosmos. It is free and you have some fabric there that would be good for it. She will have two blocks up this month. It looks super, and it starts out on a easy scale and goes to harder but she will show you how to do it along with videos. You can always get a border print if you like. Check it out!

How about a Dresden Plate? Love your purple one!

Here is one idea that is on my list for this year. I am going to make it as a baby quilt using batiks. The mom is from the tropics and this will be to honor her heritage. http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/pineapple-blossom.html

That fabric wants to be a lone star!!

I've done the dresden plate a couple of times LOL
I finished this small one this morning - and now I will try the quarterfoil - much more challenging - which is my motto for 2016! |
So, Marion Have you ever heard of or tried Tribble Trouble. It's really pretty and I think some what difficult.

This is good to know about batiks. I have a ton and would not have through to worry about the bleeding.

At first glance, I liked the first one of the two.

How about a carpenters wheel with a star center? On black, white, pale blue, or another color for background?
