I used them to put 4 fleece rag quilts in so I could get them in my check in suitcase when we flew to Colorado. Worked great leaving room for other things too. Would not have been able to get them all in the suitcase otherwise.

I found the bags leak after awhile and become brittle...at least in AZ...short term might be okay!

i HONESTLY think that for shipping purposes it would be just fine. I have used them for my clothes and I can take them right out of the bag and wear them. They are not wrinkled.

Please don't store your quilts in plastic bags. Moisture builds up inside of plastic. Fabrics need to breathe. Use pillowcases or spead on a guest bed in layers if you have the room. If you make bags out of muslin you can make them any size you want to store your quilts in. Just my opinion. :)

I use them in the caravan to store duvet in. Comes out without wrinkles. Not sure i would put a quilt in.

I used them to send a quilt to my grandson-in-law's parents in Peru so they could get it in their suit case and it worked fine.

I love the space bags. Nothing ever comes out wrinkled. I would not leave quilts in them for years because cotton needs to breath.
