Quarter inch foot for Memory Craft 7500

I have a Memory Craft 7500 sewing machine, which I have recently had to put into use once again. I believe this company is one and the same as Janome now. ????? I need a quarter inch foot for quilt seams for this machine. Does anyone know if the Janome foot would fit? I have a foot that I LOVE from my Brother sewing machine (which had to go into retirement right now ...LOL). It will clip on the MC 7500, but the needle is not quite in the center of the foot. So, that had to be eliminated. I would appreciate any information on this topic. Thanks.

As for the foot, I think the "O" or "O2" 1/4" foot should work.

I have a 1985 Memory Craft and a Janome 7000 and the feet are interchangeable

Should have been 7700

My MC3500 is a Janome. Memory Craft is the name of a Janome line of machines. So they should take any Janome feet, I would think. My MC3500 and my MC6600P take the same feet.

Get the Janome brand O2 quarter-inch foot.
it's a modification of the O foot that is better suited to the bulky seam intersections we so often create in a quilt top.

i'm not "dissing" other brands. in fact, i usually go generic to save $$$.
however, when it comes to feet for my Janome machines, i stick with those made by and for Janome. i've tried using both generic feet and those from other brands i've owned that fit my Janomes. i cannot see any difference - i confess. but the "real thing" always out-performs substitutes.

the good news is that there isn't usually much difference in cost.

I agree with Patrice on this one. Also that foot is worth every cent! You also can get one for the duel feet foot.

My sister (who has the 6600 as well) bought me that foot. I can't wait to try it out!

Carolaug, is the dual feed foot a 1/4 inch foot? I haven't been able to find one locally, only the stitch in the ditch and open toe in the dual feed format.

I have a 1/4" accufeed (dual feed) foot for my 6600. I don't use it for piecing though, but I do for sewing on binding.
