Question for 1.5" Postage Stampers

Sometimes when swapping 1.5" squares some can be a little short or wonky. Would you enter a 2" swap, so you could cut them down yourself?

not really, too much trouble/time to recut them!

I think it doesn't matter what you swap in, sometimes you get some that aren't cut properly. Just go with the 1.5 and hope that most are true to size. Otherwise you have to recut all the ones you get from 2" to 1.5 and what a pain and time wasting endeaver!:)

Depends on how much you like cutting - I like this idea because at least when you cut them they should be all the same size.

My first response when I read your post -

A 1.5 inch square was cut SHORT? You have got to be - - - kidding!

In the swaps I've participated in - I've tried to send everything as close to the guidelines as possible - sometimes I wondered if my swappers were reading a different list!!

I think I would just go with it and expect some of the squares to not be up to your standards and set them aside. Maybe have a template to check them against, just to make working with them easier.

Maybe you could do something with 1.25 squares if there end up being enough of them.

Snarkiness aside, different rulers - and how people measure with them - could account for some variations of the square sizes.

I prefer to do my own cutting - if there's a goof - it's my goof-up - I know how I measure - and that may or may not be how you measure - the difference may be very small - or it may be not so small.

Depends on how severe your OCD is.

"depends on how severe your OCDis" Lol, I liked that one. I agree with what you said too.
