Remember if your throat is 15" you will comfortably be able to quilt a pattern roughly half that width, about 8" (or less), so don't buy 12" wide pantographs. I don't have that machine, mine is a different brand.

i have the qnique 14 long arm on my frame. and i really like it. i ordered mine from the grace company
2 years ago in dec. and i paid 3200. so i think that is a good price.

Thanks, I've thought about it and decided to do it. I'm off to get it as soon as the morning traffic thins out!

I have the BlockRockIt, which is the same machine. I love it! I have it on the 10 foot Grace Continuum frame, which I really like, too! I also have Quilter's Creative Touch on it and it does a great job. You might check with the Grace Company - they have machine and frame combinations at good prices. Kathy Quilts sells the BlockRockIt and frame combos (they are the Grace Frames). The BlockRockIt came out first (made by the Grace Company) and after about a year, they were able to market the machine with their Quinique' name on it. I do it for my pleasure so I didn't need a bigger machine--I just roll a little more often than those with bigger machines. The support from Kathy Quilts and the Grace Company has been great when I have had questions or help.

I did go get it!!! Very excited! It's still in box, won't be able to put it up until we move things around to make room. Gina can you tell me more about the Quilter's Creative Touch. Does it come with the machine? i have only looked at the manual.

Leah Day quilts on that machine and she has a lot of free videos on her site and on you tube

I have the same machine and I love it! I had tried the model at a quilt show and fell in love with it. I found a dealer not far from my home and purchased my machine for $3299 in 2015. I was able to still use my Majestic Frame from the Grace Company. Before the machine was delivered to the store, the factory adjusted the machine to fit the frame. However, the dealer support was very minimal, and the employee really did not understand how the machine worked. It took a while, but with the gracious help of Grace Company employees themselves and a lot of self teaching, it is a joy to use it.

Here's a tip for the new owner: due to different weights and brands of quilting threads, tension needs to be adjusted each time threads are changed. My method is to adjust the bobbin thread first using the Jamie Wallen method. After threading the top thread, have the top tension knob flush with the screw. Test the top tension (I use the the quilt sandwich's extra space either above the quilt top or on the side of the quilt). Check to see how the thread looks both on top and bottom. Gradually increase the tension on top until you like how the thread looks on the bottom. It works for me every time. You are welcome to PM me if you have any questions.

Correction to post#9: I should have proofread this. Please see the third sentence from the bottom saying "Gradually increase....." It should have read as follows. Gradually loosen the tension....

Hope this makes sense. Occasionally I have found the bobbin may need a very tiny, tiny change, less than 1/16th of an inch!
