For rotary cutters...I have a 45 mm Olfa rotary cutter and I've heard a lot of people suggest Harbor Freight carpet cutter replacement blades. My question is, my little thing on the rotary cutter is not a perfect circle and the whole in the blade is. Would it still work?

They work fine in my Olfa cutter, and, at the price, it's worth a try!

I have them and they work - I don't think they are the best ones around...sometimes they have little spots that don't cut right....my experience anyway.

Yes and they also work in my Gingher cutter too.

They'll work just fine, but some of mine have a "skip" on them, but at that price I can afford to throw a few away!!

I started off liking the Harbor Freight blades, but the last six or so have been awful....with nicks already. Very frustrating, as I still have several packages of them.

At a buck apiece, I do like Eleanor Burns does and toss them over my shoulder and break out a new one. I'd still rather work through a few bad ones, not that I've found many, than the pay the ridiculous high prices at Jo-Anns or my LQS.

Yes, I was in there looking for something else last week, and found them on sale in my local store. Bought three packs, as I have not tried them before. 6 blades for the price of one elsewhere. Haven't tried them yet tho'. Been so sick I haven't even felt like sewing. Now that is sick!!!

I think they last a lot longer than the regular blades I bought from JoAnns.

I've had some that were good and lasted a long time. However, the last package of 2 that I bought were absolutely awful. They were both dull and nicked from the get go and were not usable at all. Luck of the draw I guess.

Some are good, some are bad. Good luck

I'm too afraid to try them. I don't like rolling the dice on my quilting purchases because I can't get out and get replacements very often. Too many people have reported iffy quality on them. I'll pay for my Fiskar blades. They are incredibly sharp. They slice through fabric with the greatest of ease. And they cut through an unfortunatly positioned thumb like a hot knife through butter! Yep, I've got the scars to prove my blades work, so I won't be looking elsewhere :)

I bought 20 bladed the last time around. I've found 3 that were bad. Still better than "quilting' blades.
