I have used HF blades for quit some time now. I have had 1 bad blade out of several packages. I agree with the previous posts why not buy one and try it. You are only out $2.00 per package which is $1.00 per blade. Not much to invest when you consider the cost of name brand blades.

This is what I did -- I ordered 10 packages and used two of them and all four blades in those two packages were horrible!

I didn't return them because I would have to mail them back and it isn't worth the return postage to me. It's cheaper for me to throw them in the trash. I won't be ordering any more.

I bought several packs to share with my sister and we both ended up tossing them out. The very dull 45mm blade I was replacing cut better than the new ones from HF. From now on, I'll pay the regular price and know the blades will be nice and sharp.

I've bought HF blades and have never had any kind of problems. I gave one to a friend of mine to try a year ago, and she's very happy with them. Both of us will buy them again.

I have purchased HF blades from the get go, even before they started talking about them here. I have NEVER had a problem with them, (except the store keeping them on the shelf) and they last so much longer then the "name brands" for quilting. I have one on my cutter now that I have cut cardboard for the bottom of bags and went right back to cutting fabric. No problems. I am very happy with them.

And as many have said... Try them, you may like them and the dollars saved,...More fabric!

Sorry girls but I love mine .I have had NO problems ,they are sharp .I've had a blade in my cutter for many months and it is used frequently . Can't beat the price either.

I have no problem with my Harbor Freight blades. My daughter sent m 24 packs for Christmas last year, I don't think I will ever need to buy any more.

Instead of throwing out the junk blades from Harbor Freight, how about sending them to those of us that love them?! I for one, think they do a great job. I had one that didn't last as long as another, but I find if you cut a lot of polarfleece, it wears out blades faster than than melting butter. I try to keep one rotary cutter just for my good fabric and one cutter for cutting fleece. As someone else said, make sure you don't have 2 stuck together. They are lubricated and this sticks them together, you have to carefully slide them apart.
