Question about Kaffee quilt books

I have to admit, when I first started quilting, I didn't like the Kaffee fabric lines at all, but they have really grown on me. I saw a picture for a Kaffee quilt called Sunset and a stone log cabin done in pastels as a kit that I really like. I am considering getting some books. Does anyone know if either or both of these patterns are in his books? I can't make it to my quilt store for a bit so thought I would ask here. I figured some of you wonderful quilters are Kaffee fans and might know.

Thanks!

You might try checking on amazon. They will list all of his books, and some books provide illustrations of all of the quilt projects in the book. Another possibility would be to inquire of an on-line store that sells his fabrics and books. The Glorious Color website specializes in Kaffe Fassett, and they might be able to tell you if those patterns are in a book. Or if he has a blog, you might inquire directly.

Good Morning! I know with certainty that the Stone Log Cabin quilt pattern/instructions are in his Quilts in Italy book. I've seen the Sunset but can't recall which book. I also noticed the Quilts in Italy book is now on Amazon for $17.95.

I'm about 3/4 finished with the Stone Log Cabin quilt and i love it so far! It's on my design wall begging to be completed :)

Good luck!

If you got to kaffefassett.com you can see what is in each of his books. Good luck!

Edit: Okay, I take that back. It only shows the contents of the latest books and I don't see Sunset in those. Sorry!

I don't know whether the Sunset pattern is in one of the books or not, but just wanted to say that Kaffe's books are wonderful for inspiration. I never regret the money spent buying his books.

There are some free patterns available from Free Spirit - I accessed them through The Fat Quarter website. Love Fassett fabrics.

I found the table of contents of some of his books listed on Amazon.com. Bring up the listing, click on the photo, then click on the table of contents. Others did not list the table of contents.

I did a search for "table of contents quilts in the sun kaffee fassett" and got this: https://bepl.ent.sirsi.net/client/en_US/default/search/detailnonmodal/ent:$002f$002fSD_ILS$002f0$002fSD_ILS:1712389/ada

I would suggest you look for the table of contents for each book, as I didn't find any direct link to a quilt pattern named Sunset.

I was looking for a particular pattern once and emailed them at their web site and got a reply from them letting me know which book it was in. Very customer friendly.

I would google the book for more information. I also didn't care for Kaffe and now I love it. Just ask my collection! Check Pinterest for Kaffe Fassett quilts - some tell what book they used if any.

I buy his books just to look at the pics. I took a couple with me to the hair salon the other day and my hair stylist was fascinated with Kaffe's quilts.
