question about making a clothesline cord bag
Well, really not a clothesline bag. One where you only use fabric and batting, like this.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...eDEbs3tm0&NR=1 She uses a whole jelly roll plus batting to make that bag. Has anyone made these to sell? I'd love to give it a try, but jelly rolls are like 45.00+. I'd have to sell the bag for 100 to make it worth it. Have any of you, made and sold these bags? Thanks for any help or suggestions. |
I made one but not that particular bag and not to sell. Thanks for that link! The one I made used regular batting--not Duo Fuse but boy do I wish I had thought to use it! The regular batting didn't want to stay in place while I sewed it and I was constantly cutting the excess off even though I had cut the batting narrower. But to answer your question with a question, why don't you cut your own strips? Got to be cheaper that way.

IMHO The bag is not worth $100.

very pretty bag, I have seen some of that brand of batting and wondered what to do with it. Did not buy it.
