question about making a photo quilt

I purchased the June Tailor colorfast fabric sheets for ink jet printers. So far so good following the directions. What I am not sure of is, now that I have the pictures heat and color set on the fabric sheets, what to do next?
Do I need to fuse these now created photo fabric sheets to other cotton fabric, before I add my cotton fabric borders around the pictures? In other words can these fabric sheets be treated as regular fabric? They do feel thin. Thanks for your help and hopefully my question makes sense.

I'm not sure about this fabric sheet. What does the package say? I've used these ones:

and you use them on their own.

I use them as regular fabric, once printed and heat set.

I have used them as regular fabric also. Just sew them into your connecting blocks as you normally would. I made these wall hangings using photo fabric sheets.
Made this for my daughter and her hubby in 2011. I embedded their wedding photos into it, used their wedding colors for the blocks...purple, lavender and silver.
I made these for my husband's family. I used family photos....of the couple and each set of their parents and their children. They are Irish, so used Irish themed fabric for the "non-photo" blocks. I made these just as I was starting to quilt in 2011. So they are quite simple... I would make better improvements today with the non photo blocks using different block patterns.

I've just used the sheets as regular fabric with no problems.

Thank you so much. This makes it so much easier. Everyone have a great 2018. It looks like mine is starting out well with your advice.
