question about new patterns & where will I see the answers to my question
Someone told me there were free patterns on quilting board.com. Please tell me where I can see them. And, now that I have asked this question, where will I see the answer? Help!!

did you subcribe to this thread? if you did, you either told it to notify you by email if somebody else posts on it, or have the notification show up on your control panel only. if you didn't subscribe to it, you can go to your "my profile" link up top, then look for "find latest started threads" link under your avatar picture and click on that. there is also plenty of help to instruct you how to subscribe to a thread at this link...the PDF by PatriceJ on the first post. http://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-help...s-t165767.html

maybe she means the references to www.quilterscache.com and similar sites?

Another place that lots of us use and refer others to is Bonnie Hunter's ~ http://quiltville.com/

I'm guessing she's referring to the ads for QB that are all over the internet claiming "Lots of free patterns and pictures" to be found here. I never really understood that claim, personally, as any free patterns are actually just scattered links to other websites and our personal photos should not be considered "free for the taking" by anyone. The images are, after all, copyright owned by the poster even if they didn't design the quilt pictured. Just my http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-forum/2c.gif
