I bought Tonga Treat Strips, 40 -2.5"x40" strips, there is 2 each of 20 patterns. Question is when I sew these strips together since there is 2 of each, is there a certain way I should sew these together so I don't end up with like strips next to each other? I just can't wrap my brain around this to figure it out, hope you know what I'm talking about. Thanks for your help.

Honestly I don't see how you do it with out the same prints being close or sometimes right next to each other. I have made 2 of them and couldn't see anyway around it.

Relax your brain. I think they will be close but it will bel okay.

Would it help if you left them like they are packaged and alternate which end of the pack you grab them from?

I added strips to the quilt once I was done with oodles from the jelly roll and then I could plan it a bit but the doubling method did end up with same strips close to each other ..Like a potluck where everyone brings dessert or a sald and no casseroles.. I thought it was fun anyway...

i am thinking of doing one but cutting each strip in half and sewing 22" strips together. I like the idea of shorter strips of the same fabric. I'll sew them together on the diangonal. Will take a bit longer but I like the idea that they will "flow" better.

I read some where if you cut 10" off the first strip this will help offset them.
