Bella - sorry for typo!

I have made several rag quilts and definitely prefer the larger square even for baby quilts. After washing and ragging I find the square is a perfect size. I like that I can see more of my material in the squares. Because I've done both, the smaller ones seem so crowded in comparison. Either that or I'm old and like bigger things to look at!!

I am so happy to hear that everyone loves their 81/2 inch die. I have one that I haven't used yet and thought it looked way too big and was thinking about getting the smaller one. Now I can't wait to use it. Love "The Quilting Board."
