Question for anyone who owns a Viking MegaQuilter w/QBot and Cruise Controll
 

I bought a floor model Viking Mega Quilter with a Next Generation and 4D QBot and Cruise Control and have been working with Viking to get some missing parts so I can get it up and running. I received what was supposed to be the rest of the stuff but think I still may be missing some stuff. For the cruise control they sent me the 'brain' and connections, but my question is do I need the control switch that from the manual looks like it attaches to the carriage at the top above the machine to turn it on and off?? Also is it true I dont need the optical encoders because I have a QBot? One more question is do you use the different laser tips that make the laser smaller of larger? I only got one.

If you go to qbot website they have install instruction. I do have other tips for my laser beem size. Hope this will help. I have the 18x8 on inspira frame, and the mega quilter for piecing. You will love the qbot, it is great fun.
