I am planning a quilt for a good friend's son who is being married in the Fall.
Born and bred Eureka Springs
I thought it would be fun to do it in Arkansas state colours
After an hour online, I've come to think there isn't one

If that's so, will use your state flower, the Apple Blossom, with white, pink, a little red and green for leaves.

Didn't find a colour.
Am grateful for the link though as I can use other info.

I noticed that. Arkanasas Razorbacks (sports) are big here...and everything is RED, so I guess you can't go wrong with that!!!

But, for a son? Even one getting married soon?
I'd opt for less soft, pastel, feminine colors and go for primary or college specific; if you are making it for the man, there's no guarantee in this day and age that he'll actually *get* married next year, and then he'd have a strange quilt if it were pink/green/white, I'd think.

Isn't Eureka Springs mountainous, pretty geology in the area? Maybe play off that theme.

I haven't gone to enchantedlearning is several years! (since I retired from teaching) It was fun to look at the AR page again!

Eureka Springs is in the north west part of the state and it is in the mountains. Very quaint old town...narrow roads...lots of snow in the winter...HOWEVER they like the rest of us in Arkansas are having record heat 100 to 117 degree days and no that is not with the heat index.

The University of Arkansas mascot is the razorback which is a wild hog and the school colors are red and white. Eureka Springs is not too far from the university.

Contrary to popular belief we do wear shoes and are not all "hillbillies" wearing overhalls, no shirts and floppy brim hats...LOL.
