question: does it matter where buy a pellon interfacig? ( same style number?)

Other than price, isn't Pellon (style number) the same, no matter where I might buy it?

If it is the brand name product it should be the same regardless where you buy it as far as I know.

It should be just like anything product that is labeled - it should be the same for every store.

Yes, it is the same. The only difference might be the format it's sold in. For example, Pellon 987F (fusible fleece) is sold by the yard and in a package. The only reason this would matter is if you're ordering online. I've had a store ship a package instead of yardage.

why do you ask?

Yeah, I'm with DebraK. Why would you think it would be different?

The product itself is not labeled, nor is batting, but if buying yardage in person that's not an issue and if buying online from a known seller, it shouldn't be either (you should always get some of the bolt inserted instruction/project 'streamer stuff' - what's that stuff called anyway?). Packages are labeled so no problem there.

If you are concern with the quality, I don't think they sell seconds. If the label is from the manufacturer, it is the same. I bought bolts of Pellon from P&B fabrics and the same stuff is sold at JAF.

I've bought it a Walmarts, JoAnn's and the fabric store. I all seems the same, except the price. I buy my WS, tear away and cut away at Hancock's so that I can use coupons and military discount. I buy the pool noodles and roll it up on that to keep it organized and without wrinkles. Plus sometimes they'll give you the cardboard its on if it or another one empties

I like the pool noodle idea for wrapping it on. I bought some PVC pipe/tubing - never even thought of the pool noodles!

Pool noodles is an inspired idea!
