Does anyone know if the blocks mentioned in the Elm Creek books exist?
Yes, there are pattern books that go with the series.
Which block are you looking for?
Yes. There are at least 3 pattern books. One is called Elm Creek Quilts, More Elm Creek quilts, and I can't remember the other one. They look like fun. I have found them at my local library.
There is one with Sylvia's Bridal Sampler with all the blocks
The author is a quilter herself and I've read many of these books. They all seem familiar and accurate to me as I read the books. The newest book is a cookbook of sorts! FUN to read!
Also, I don't think that you have to necessarily read them in order. Although, I have, they seem to kind of all be interwoven.
They have printed blocks, without directions on the inside covers of her books. At least the hardcover books.
