It's so pretty. I would have NEVER known that the rows are reversed. Just think of all the contractors in a subdivision not following the rules either. I would totally leave it.

I would leave it as is...the larger houses are in the front and the smaller bldgs. are behind giving the illusion of depth.

Your quilt is beautiful and unless it will bug you every time you look at it, I would not change a thing. Recently, I had to take out 8 blocks and switch them around. Even if I kept the quilt for myself, I would have been unhappy with it.

It's your town, Not all towns are alike. This is what makes each quilt different and unique. I would leave it as is since everything fits.

Well, I have to say that I am working on this too and my first reaction when I saw your quilt was BEAUTIFUL! I only hope mine turns out as well. I love the crisp fresh look of it. Then I had to try to determine what you said the problem was. While I'm very familiar with the pattern (I have only completed the small houses) it really didn't hit me that there was something "wrong" until you mentioned it. After seeing how nicely yours turned out I may mix my blocks up a bit before assembling it!

It looks fine, I'd go with it.
