Question for the Paper Piecers Here

I recently posted a thread about my "Not a Jeweled Forest" PP Ponderosa Pine panels I've been making http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t169218.html and have been getting a lot of questions about my process. I am certainly NO EXPERT at this; in fact this is my FIRST foray into PP. I drew my own pattern the way I wanted it and just keep going from there. (It seems one can learn to do almost anything with a little searching on the web and a lot of experimentation.) To me PP is kind of like shingling a roof; you start at the bottom and keep overlapping pieces until you are done. (In fact, it's got me thinking about how to shingle a decorative pattern into a roof, but that's another story!)

Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you know of some good resources to link folks to who are wanting to learn to make their own PP block patterns? I'd love to do a tutorial on the process I used, but just don't have the time right now...

Thanks all!

Sorry, I can't hslp with that. I have PP a little bit and it wasn't as bad as I had heard it could be. I like your way of thinking. When you do get that pattern on your roof, please send pics! hehehe
