Question - Pfaff 4.2 Quilt Expression
 

So any of you who have this machine have it in a drop down table with a hard plastic insert cut to fit around machine? If so, does it fit exactly around machine? Mine has gaps on all sides except front and back edges and I'm wondering if it was cut correctly? It's just a nuisance because I continually drop things thru the gaps.

Mine is the same way and I think it just has to do with the shape of the machine. I don't think they could do it any better. I do drop mainly pins through mine. Overall though, it serves the purpose and my quilts move free across it.

Now rereading your post, does it not fit around to the left of your machine, near the "needle end"? Mine does.

No, it does not fit around to the left of my machine, near the needle end. Think it was cut wrong.

In that case, I think so too. Hopefully, you can contact the company who made it and get some help. Hope you let us know how it turns out. I am curious which company you got it from but I'm leery of talking about specifics now, on the forum. Maybe you could PM me if you don't mind. I've gotten two from the same company that seem to work.
