ha ha I hear you on the longer than ten minute. first one I made I think it took me about four hours LOL!
|
I sew the buttons, it only takes a few minutes.
My guild sold these at our last quilt show boutique and priced them at $18 which no one wanted to pay. The price was brought down to $12 and more sold. Good luck! Glad you're feeling better. |
Our local quilt shop sells 10 minute table runners 12.00 dollars for the kit and when the kit is gone they sell the sample for 15.00. sometimes if I really want it I buy the kit but prefer to buy the samples

I have made some for gifts and always sew them on. I am so glad to hear you have overcome your "bump in the road" and back to sewing. Stay well!!

Good luck with your new adventure and new lease on life! You will get faster at them if you work assembly line ... start out pricing them less so they sell ... you can always go up later if they sell too fast. This is the perfect season to be making them! Best of luck!

I would sew the buttons on.
Ten minute runners? I can't do a single thing in ten minutes :D So happy you're doing well- Yay!!!!!!! |
I'd sew the buttons on - I just think they are more secure that way. As far as the going rate, I am not sure.

I have made some and did not use buttons, but decorative appliques that were much flatter than a button so items place on it were not wobbly.
