Is Quilt Camp the same as a retreat?
Could be. There are lots of different kinds of retreats.
I'd say yes.
It sounds like it. The only difference I can see is sometimes at a retreat you stay wherever you want, and at a camp you probably all stay together.
Sounds like it would be the same to me... maybe it is in a country/wooded setting? :D:D:D
Thank you for your reply. One of the ladies at the Lexington Quilt Show Saturday mentioned the quilt camp and not sure what she meant but.....the crowd was thick and I moved on.
Blessings, Ruth |
another gal on the board mentioned that they had a quilt camp where you brought your own food for meals during the day and went home to sleep at nite...so I guess a quilt camp can be anything you want...just like a retreat.
You would have to read the schedule. But in general, I would say yes.

Dani---you would be more than welcome ---but it would be a bit of a trawl across the "Pond" just for a week!!!
What a lovely group and jolly. I love that word, we don't use it enough here in the states. If you told someone they were jolly they'd think we called them Santa Claus. You lovely ladies do not resemble Santa, for sure. Thanks for sharing.
Blessings, Ruth |
Ruth you are right we are jolly---and I would say some of us are fat enough to be Santa claus---ho,ho,ho
We do have a good time and the farmer who owns the cottage often pops in to see us and have a drink and peice of cake. |
