I had every family member write on a quilt block their most memorial Christmas. I want to make a memory quilt for each family. I need to know how to get copys of the blocks for each quilt. Do I have to get them to write out the number of blocks that I need or is there a way to copy them!

You could scan the portion of the block they wrote on then print it out on the "photo fabric". Then you could build blocks around those pieces.

The blocks can be scanned into your PC and then printed again, just not sure how clear the reprints would be, especially after washing. Cute idea though!! I'd probably just make a really special wallhanging , or maybe frame the block, for each individual. Maybe find a photo of that special XMas each wrote about and use it also. Looking forward to seeing what you do!!

Scan them on the computer, print them on fabric.

Iron fabric on wax paper, cut the paper to fit in the printer.

thanks Carol, the wall hanging is a really good idea, and not as much work!
