Questions about vinyl
 

Can someone tell me what iron on vinyl is good for and what type of flannel backed vinyl do you buy for making a changing pad? I've never used vinyl before so I'm not familiar with it. Thank you!

I used iron on vinyl to make a bag with paper. I had a book and I wanted a tote to take to the baseball games. I love to keep score, so I need my score book, pencil, eraser along with DH's peanuts and other odds and ends. The handles were originally dark green. I painted them and added the baseball stitching. All the pictures you see on the tote were copies of items I had: old tickets, jersey, etc. Here is a picture :

I've used iron on vinyl to make custom signs for the wall in a fitness studio with a pocket sewn on the front the instructor can post and change notes of information to her clients. you can also make your own laminated fabric - since the laminates that are out there for sale are limited in style, the iron on vinyl lets you pick your own fabric to make garments, table covers, etc.

I have never used it, sounds very interesting!!!
