Check out Bonnie Hunters "Leaders and Enders" Using her method, you'll evenually have enough leaders and enders to make something!!. I've got a whole pile of 4patchs I've made that will eventually go into a scrap quilt.

I have a Pfaff 7550 also. I got it for Christmas 1995. It has never pulled anything into the feed dogs. What does your Pfaff dealer say?

I forgot to take the plate off one time before zig zag had to take to doctor to get fixed.

I no longer live near the dealer where I purchased the machine and I didn't think to ask the last time I was in a Pfaff retailer, I need to make a note so that I don't forget to ask next time.

Fortunately my new Babylock is not as persnickety as the Pfaff.

This is interesting to me, because I have never had this problem with my Pfaffs and didn't know other people did until this topic was posted. I have a cheap Brother though, that will eat the fabric every time if I don't chain piece.

fabric scrap to start the stitching and then chain stitch as much as possible to save thread and time cutting thread ends. Also use IDT almost all the time and needle down too.
