Can you give away patterns that you have already made? (Is this an odd question? haha) Don't want to sell, just give away.

If you bought them, they are yours and you can do with them what you will. At least that is my take. I have seen patterns at resale shops, so I'm assuming you can give them away as well, doesn't matter if you paid full retail or not.

It is not the same as "sharing" a purchased pattern...you give it away or sell it and it becomes "owned" by the recipient.

Legally, the single copy you buy is yours to do with as you wish. The restriction would be on making copies of the pattern. You couldn't copy the pattern, then give it to someone else, but you could make a copy to "preserve" your good copy. Does that make sense? The main idea is that you paid for one pattern, and you are limited to only having that one pattern.
