Happy Saturday Everyone!
I am in the planning stage of making a lap quilt for my sweet niece who is in preschool. I want to make her a "lap quilt" as I am also making her mommy (my sister) a lap quilt for Christmas. What size would you make for a 4 year old? I have thought about making it the same size as her mothers but not sure. I am also going to make a quilt for her dollies. This quilt will be identical to my nieces quilt with the exception of size. What do you think? JulieM |
I am making my grands quilts lap sized, or a tad bigger. I want them to be able to use them for a while  What a great idea for her dolly to have a matching quilt!!!

I would make it large enough to fit her for years, but maybe a little bit smaller than her moms, that way she can feel it is her size. I love the idea you have for doing them, will they match?

What a Great idea!! :D I would
make them a bit bigger, to last much longer. I made my grand's lap quilts for Christmas last year & they went over really "BIG"!! :D :D :D :D :D |
about 3/4 the size of an adult one seems like the right size for napping, cuddling and feeling grown-up under.
