I see you have many good answers but I just got my newwsletter from All People Quilt and one of the feaures was Broken dishes, they were minature but thought you might like the article. Plus, it is a good site to subscribe to if you don't already (thru Better Homes and Gardens)

I am just now sewing the rows of my Purple and prints Broken Dishes together. I plan to tye it and its a 13th birthday quilt for a young cousin. I love how easy it all goes together.
