Lick, lick, lick???????

I'd guess a good soak in warm water with a bit of mild soap like Ivory. Got to use something to break down the fats in the chocolate (cocoa butter). I would try NOT to scrub it as that might grind the cocoa into the fibers. Good luck getting it out!

i set my chocolate on a completely different table, so i hve to get up, move, stretch, get some exercise, put the candy in my mouth, then back to the sewing table.........gina

I'd think about trying out the different methods posted, but would hate to sacrafice Chocolate to find out on a spare scrap of the same fabric to find the solution :)
Good Luck

Simple and easy:
Our county bicentennial quilt had some masking tape residue from labeling the squares. I used (VERY lightly on clean white cloth) lighter fluid until spot was all gone. It evaporates quickly, doesn't leave any odor behind, doesn't damage fabric. If you use it VERY lightly, it's a good try.

I would make a paste out of oxyclean and rub in on for awhile. It might work. I oxyclean on all my tough stains. Oh, how I love those chocolate kisses.
