Has anyone here been on a quilt cruise ...I was just looking in the new quilter magazine and there is a quilt cruise for a Cause going to HAWAII Feb 4 -18 2012 .. Wonder if I start saving now if I could go... What a fantastic way to quilt and see hawaii too.

Ooooooh, how I would love to go! Think of all the trouble we quilters would get into in a TWO WEEK cruise!

How much was it? I saw one to Alaska for May/June...$1000 for the cruise and that much more for the quilting part...rather expensive, but I would love to go on one.

I love cruising and I love quilting. Just not sure I want to combine them. When I cruise I like to relax and do excursions and just chill. When I take quilting classes I get absorbed and have a one track mind.

I don't imagine there is quilting for 100% of the time. After all, they have to make these attractive to our husbands also or some of us wouldn't be able to go at all. I'm sure they do quilting by day and anything we want by night or vice versa.

I think a quilting cruise sounds like a wonderful idea!
