Quilt Diva by Ann Bradley

Has anyone designed and made the Quilt Diva from Ann Bradley's pattern. It is a 29 by 50 wall hanging. Our Texas Quilt group is doing it for our challenge this coming winter. I was wanting some ideas! Thanks for any suggestions or ideas you might have!

Need more information - ideas for what? You already have the pattern, are you requesting help with color placement, fabrics, or ???

I was gifted that kit, but eventually donated it, that is way too big for my small house, no matter how fun the design is. Have fun with it! Years back paperpanache.com offered a free pp pattern for a personalized version of yourself….Can’t remember the term….but I participated and it was really fun. (Only brought that up because I bought some funky pierced earrings to dress it up, and maybe that might give you an idea)
ok googled and found a link to the fairy quilt godmother.

I attended a class by a lovely woman from Pflugerville, Texas called "Faces". She had many examples with a cute fictional background for each "face". Here is the one from the class, plus, I made one for my DD. She love cats and dinosaurs. BTW, I had to really shop for the fabric with the perfect dino for the earrings!

That is a very cute pattern. It may be another I have to add to my bucket list.
I am looking forward to seeing your version.

At the beginning of the pandemic Alex Anderson did quite a few free classes on a FB live, I think they are still available to view on their site, will see if the link works for you, lots of fun ideas you could incorporate into your pattern.

I made the Quilting Fairy Godmother by paperpanache. While I adore the finished project, she hangs ion my quilt studio wall, I have to say she was fun but very challenging. I would not recommend as a first time paper piecing project.

I too did the Quilting Fairy Godmother, quite a few years ago... I too adore the finished project. My granddaughter who was about 10 at the time thought it was a really good representation of me as "she's wearing her glasses on the end of her nose just like you do Grandma".... Mine hangs on the door of my quilting room. It was very challenging as you say, and it was my first paper piecing project...
