QUILT WITH EBROIDERY AND pieced blocks
 
I seen this quilt with embroidery and pieced blocks it was alot of differnet colors of blue and the embroidery block was flowers can anyone help me find this quilt again. There were lamps beside the both sides of the bed hope all this info helps.

don't think this is it - no lamps beside the bed - but tables, and it is blue. And beautiful

can you give a bit more info? like how long ago did you see it, am assuming it was on this board?

It has been in the last couple weeks I seen it it has pretty big blocks and it is pieced so as it does not line up in rows

See if you can find the date that you copied the picture. If you use the 'archive' link (bottom of this page) the forums come up in the order that the posts were created. You can then look at the pictures archive and find the posts from that day.

Are you sure it's made from a pattern? That would be a fairly easy quilt to make without the pattern.

Just make 10-15 blocks, like the pieced blocks shown. Ohio stars, other blocks. Take them out of block books, etc. Make them about 8-10 inches. You could actually vary the size for more interest.

Make as many embroidered blocks, each a tad larger than 10 inches.

Decide on an arrangement of large fabric pieces that would place the embroidered blocks skewed to the left and low and the pieced blocks skewed to the right and high, while keeping the finished blocks with large fabric pieces the same size for the embroidery and pieced blocks.

Arrange all as you like and sew them together.

when you save your picture, you should name it by the date and which member made it so that you can access the information again when you want to.,
